Skegness to Llandudno

Departing: Skegness, Wainfleet, Boston, Heckington, Sleaford
Please Note: This trip is hauled by vintage diesel aboard our beautifully restored land cruise train 'Spirit of the Lakes'

Departing Skegness around 0615 we make our way through Boston and Sleaford before traversing the spine of England and crossing the border into Wales en route to our coastal destination of Llandudno.

The run along the North Wales coast offers stunning sea views to the north and the dramatic mountain landscape of Snowdonia to the South West before offering sweeping views across the Conwy Estuary on our approach to Llandudno.

Llandudno is the premier resort of North Wales and offers plenty of charm with it's Victorian feel. We expect a break of around three hours, time to explore the centre, perhaps take a stroll along the impressive promenade or venture out onto the pier. All the while admiring the Great Orme, a massive limestone headland which dominates the town from the north west.

After retracing our outward route home we expect to arrive into Skegness around 2200
