Cleethorpes to Edinburgh

Departing: Cleethorpes, Grimsby Town, Habrough, Barnetby, Scunthorpe, Thorne South

Due to the effects of the Covid virus we have had to reschedule this trip to the 9th March 2021.

All Passengers will be contacted on Monday 30th Nov or Tuesday 1st Dec, to discuss their booking options.

Please Note: This trip is hauled by vintage diesel aboard our beautifully restored land cruise train 'Spirit of the Lakes'

Due to the popularity of our Edinburgh Christmas tours we have decided to offer three different start points for our visits in 2020 of which this will be the first. So why not sit back, relax and travel north of the border to enjoy all the pre-Christmas attractions of Scotlands beautiful capital city aboard our luxurious Pullman train 'The Spirit of the Lakes'.

Edinburgh is one of our most popular destinations and there is no wonder. First there is the journey north with the stunning scenery of the East Coast to admire as the train rushes along the cliff tops giving spectacular sea views from the train. Then there are the attractions of Edinburgh which include the famous Castle, numerous museums, galleries and the shops of Princess Street, Holyrood Palace and the Royal Mile. Add to all this the lights and decorations that you would expect of a capital city at this time of year and you have the perfect combination for a great day out.

Departure from Cleethorpes is expected to be around 0600 with a break in Edinburgh of approximately three to four hours. Arrival back into Cleethorpes will be mid to late evening.
