Join us for a nostalgic day out aboard our heritage diesel hauled special to the county of Yorkshire with a choice of destinations (York or Scarborough). After enjoying a relaxing cross-country journey aboard our lovingly restored heritage diesel train and the wonderful views offered as we cross the Pennine chain of mountains, we arrive into York - the capital of the Ridings.
York: Leave the train here and choose from a wealth of attractions. Walk the walls, take a trip on the river, explore the historic centre with the Minster and The Shambles, or visit one of the great museums. The Railway Museum is home to the national collection and the Castle Museum with its "Olde Worlde" street, prison and vast collection of memorabilia gives a choice - either of which being almost a day out in itself.
Stay aboard to Scarborough and spend time in one of England's premier resorts. Visit the castle, take a walk through the seafront gardens to the Spa, ride the cliff railway or just enjoy miles of seafront walks. Whichever your choice, York and Scarborough offer the chance for a great day out by train.
