We are pleased to announce the south route for 2025 with 3 dates. To York or Scarborough Via Preston and Wakefield:
Running Wednesdays on 2nd July, 13th and 27th August 2025. Departing from Lancaster, Preston, Blackburn, Brighouse, Wakefield (Kirkgate), Castleford and York.
Due to the high demand for seats last year we are once more offering passengers the chance to travel from the West Coast of Britain en route to historic York then across North Yorkshire to the Spa town of Scarborough on the East Coast. Our vintage steam engine will pull out of Preston, collecting passengers at various pick up stations. Arriving in York where same passengers will alight and discover the many attractions of this historical, walled city. Then we continue across North Yorkshire to Scarborough, where we have around three hours to enjoy and explore.
