Jacobite Compartment Carriage

The Jacobite Compartment Carriage will not be available to book, until essential maintenance work for this carriage has been carried out.

Once we receive confirmation of the completion date for these works to be completed, we will to then be able to take bookings for the compartments.

We will contact all customers who have placed a booking with us and who have expressed an interest in booking a compartment to see if they would like to change their booking to a compartment first, before opening the bookings on the website. This will be dealt with on a first booked basis.

In the meantime, if you are sure of the date that you wish to travel, then please book an alternative class of travel and add a note to your booking stating that your preferred choice of travel is the Compartments! – we will then contact you in 2025 to move your reservation if the works have been completed by your chosen trip date (and that a compartment is available).
