The Jacobite – PM Trips Back in service!

We are delighted to announce that our world-famous Jacobite service is back up and running. We are currently running our morning service 7 days a week and our afternoon service will commence on Monday 17th June.

The team has done an exceptional job in getting a fleet of carriages refitted so we can start our Jacobite service, although our trains will be slightly shorter, with a reduced capacity due to the small number of available carriages with CDL fitted.

We will continue to engage with both the ORR and Department for Transport with a request for the temporary exemption so that we can operate our full heritage carriages on the main line.

As our trains will have a reduced capacity, we might not be able to accommodate all passengers who initially booked.

We will contact all passengers affected by the reduced capacity before the trip date with any available options.

We look forward to welcoming passengers on board.

The Jacobite 2024 season is currently unavailable for new bookings. Please stay tuned for updates on our news page regarding when bookings will fully reopen.
