Skegness to Chester
Departs – Saturday 01 December 2018

The destination for this trip has changed from Bath

From Skegness, Wainfleet, Boston, Heckington and Sleaford.

Chester was founded as a Roman fortress in the 1st century A.D. In the old city, the Rows is a shopping district distinguished by 2-level covered arcades and Tudor-style half-timber buildings boasting many pubs, restaurants and cafes. It's known for its extensive Roman walls made of local red sandstone. Stroll the walls, studded with historic towers and gates, then drop into the Amphitheatre - the largest in Britain.

Pullman Dining Settle to Carlisle Line passengers will be served a full English breakfast with complimentary Buck's Fizz plus elevenses or light lunch (depending on finalised timings), on the outward journey. A delicious four course evening dinner preceded by canapés and Champagne will be served on the return journey.

Pullman First Class passengers will be served a breakfast bap followed by a selection of Tulip muffins on the outward journey and a savoury refreshment box followed by the cake of the day on the return journey. To accompany this, there will be a complimentary service of tea and coffee for both legs of the journey.

Standard and First Class passengers will have access to a buffet for the purchase of tea, coffee and light refreshments. You are also welcome to bring your own refreshments or indeed a tasty picnic to enjoy as the countryside passes by!
